The maintenance booklet - Bill 16
The maintenance logbook: a historical preventive record
The maintenance logbook is a preventive maintenance record that traces the history of the building as well as all operations carried out or to be carried out on the building. This document contains the main physical and technical characteristics of the building. It lists the various service, maintenance and warranty contracts.
It provides for the follow-up of future work under the asset management plan. It establishes the procedures to be followed for the maintenance of each of the building’s systems and components.
This program extends the useful life of components that are generally affected by premature deterioration while increasing their efficiency. This management system serves as a guide in the follow-up of preventive maintenance tasks (in the same way as the Water Infiltration Investigation, Air Infiltration Investigation services)
